Job Description

This position is to support the Finance department of the Company by performing daily administrative tasks, including processing and recording transactions, preparing reports and budgets, communicating with clients and vendors, systematic filing and other duties as needed.

Job Responsibilities

  • Perform basic bookkeeping, accounting entries, proper recording of all financial transactions accurately using online accounting software and spreadsheets
  • Support the Company’s business operations related to finance and accounting aspects such as data entry, updating online order status, proofread data, issuing invoices to clients, recording inventory, supply, and services in a timely manner 
  • Compile, copy, sort, and file records of business expenses meticulously, and maintain a proper documentation and filing system to ensure all required documents are ready on time and available when needed
  • Assist in the preparation of month-end accounts reconciliations, periodic accounting reports, submission of financial reports and audit reports
  • Carry out other administrative duties as per Company’s business operation, which includes communicating with clients, vendors, auditor, bank officer, tax agent, and other authority body as needed, via phone calls and emails. Any other assignments may be assigned from time to time when required

Job Requirements

  • Minimum Diploma/Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Business Administration or equivalent
  • Strong knowledge of office procedures and basic accounting process
  • Familiar with the QuickBooks accounting system will be an added advantage
  • At least 1 year of working experience in the related field is an advantage
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office (Excel & Word), Google Drive (Docs, Spreadsheets, Forms), and Email
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills with all levels, assertive and initiative
  • A meticulous and detailed-oriented person
  •  Conscious of timelines and deadlines and complete multiple tasks and complete tasks on time with minimal supervision
  • Able to work independently, having good work ethics, pleasant personality, positive attitude, self-motivated, trustworthy, and resourceful.
